Hohner announces the introduction of a series of revolutionary new apps for the iPhone: The Hohner Button Accordions.

Mimicking the layout of Hohners iconic Erica Double-Ray diatonic button accordion, these intuitive virtual accordion apps feature a super responsive, two-row fingerboard that plays and sounds like the traditional instrument.

The Hohner Button Accordion apps allow musicians to practice scales and tunes on-the-go. Headphones can be used for private practice, or the audio output of the virtual accordion can be amplified by plugging into computer speakers, or other sound enhancing devices.

Players may show the note names on the buttons by touching the ? icon.

This app is ideal for the beginning student or professional musician who needs a simple carry-on companion to compliment his or her actual accordion. The app is a convenient and easy tool for practicing, learning, or teaching.

Great app!
Five star. Thank you Michael for this opportunity. I have several of your apps. And like this one, they all work great. I think it would take a while for me to get used it. I would strongly recommend it.And I would very appreciate it if you release updates for your apps with the recording function. And a quick suggestion if you dont mind, I would love to try a flute/tinwhistle app from you (with flute or tinwhistle fingering of course) for the iPod touch. Again, great apps.
Vey realistic, Cool
I was able to pre-learn the b/c box before my instrument arrived in the mail. Enough to pick out a hand full of Irish tunes at any rate. There is actually a surprising amount of transfer from the app to the real thing. I imagine this app could save you thousands of $ if you are considering buying a real box. It will become pretty clear after a few days if you cant wrap your head around a push/pull box....or, like me you could discover that the b/c box is a realistic proposition.
